Jesse Marsch has lauded the progress Jack Harrison has made over the last month and backed the Leeds United winger to get better and better and better – in comments that may catch the eye of Tottenham Hotspur supporters.
Harrison scored his sixth league goal of the campaign on Saturday as Leeds drew with Southampton at Elland Road. The result leaves the Whites eight points clear of the bottom three.

The winger is now actually only two goals away from matching his tally from last season. That is despite his form over the course of the campaign not arguably being quite as impressive.
He has also scored the first Leeds goal in their last two fixtures. And Marsch has suggested that he has been incredibly impressed with the progress Harrison has made during his time in charge at Leeds.

“I feel like Jack is becoming a really solid, clear, intelligent, intensive player for us,” he said, as reported by Leeds Live.
“So you know, obviously, we want to keep developing him and keep pushing him but I’ve been really happy with the progress that he’s made over the last month and I think if he can continue to understand tactically and understand the mentality of the way we want to play, that he can get better and better and better.”
Tottenham set to be looking on as Harrison targets strong end to season with Leeds
It was reported during the week that Tottenham want Harrison this summer. To some Leeds fans, those reports may have come as something of a surprise.
But the 25-year-old has done well for much of his Elland Road career. He was outstanding during their second year in the Championship under Marcelo Bielsa. And he carried that into the first year back in the Premier League.
And in many ways, it is extremely impressive that he is their second-highest goalscorer without finding his best form.
Marsch is clearly confident that he will step up further in the weeks to come. That will certainly be a boost for Leeds as they look to get themselves across the line in the battle to beat the drop.
But that may also be exactly what Tottenham will be looking to see as they reportedly weigh up a summer bid.
