According to a report from Goal today, Manchester United now want to sign Everton striker, Richarlison, in the summer transfer window.
Goal reports that Richarlison has emerged as a target for United as they seek to bolster their attacking options heading into the 22/23 campaign. There is uncertainty among a number of their current attacking players. Cristiano Ronaldo could yet leave, as could Edinson Cavani. Marcus Rashford is said to be unhappy, while Anthony Martial is already out on loan in Spain.

Richarlison, then, could well prove an interesting option for the Red Devils. Goal claims that both Real Madrid and Barcelona are also keeping tabs on Richarlison. The Everton man has only scored four Premier League goals this season though.
Interestingly, a previous report covered by TBR cited how Arsenal are also meant to be keen on the Everton ace.
Once labelled ‘fantastic’ by former Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti, there is certainly a top player in there when it comes to Richarlison. However, his goals record will worry Man United fans, who will want a proven goal-getter signed.
TBR’s View: Richarlison A Saleable Asset For Everton
While Everton shelled out around £35m for Richarlison in the first place, you’d have to say he is one of the players the club could sell to ease financial pressures and allow Frank Lampard money for his own players.
Yes, the Brazilian is probably Everton’s best player on his day. But are they really getting that much out of him that they wouldn’t at least consider a sale? Probably not.
If Everton can get around the £50m for Richarlison then you’d say that’s good business. For Manchester United, they will be hoping that if they do land him, then the goals will flow like they have in previous seasons.
