Manchester United could throw a spanner in the works when it comes to Tottenham or Arsenal signing Paulo Dybala this summer, according to reports from Italy this weekend.
Tuttomercatoweb has reported how United have apparently already held a meeting with representatives of Dybala over a potential move to Old Trafford this summer. Dybala is leaving Juventus, and a whole host of big European clubs are looking to sign him if they can.
Among those interested parties are Tottenham and Arsenal. Indeed, reports have already claimed before that Fabio Paratici has been in touch with Dybala’s reps as well. Labelled a ‘special’ player by former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino, Dybala seems to be linked with a move to England every summer.

However, this year will be the best chance yet for clubs. He is leaving Juventus for nothing and the news of both United and Tottenham meeting him already suggests plans are in place at different clubs.
Dybala has enjoyed a fine career over in Italy thus far. But he has failed to put pen to paper on a new deal in Turin and that has alerted the very best clubs in Europe.
TBR’s View: Dybala Won’t Sign For United If No Top Place
And this is why that Champions League race in the Premier League is so important. The reality is that it’s going to determine which players clubs can go for. It really is so important.
Dybala won’t want to sign for United if they miss out. Likewise, he’ll probably turn his nose up at Spurs if they fluff their lines as well.
Make no mistake, though, that Paulo Dybala improves both these teams. The Argentinian forward is a real superstar when he wants to be and he’d raise the bar.
