Tottenham Hotspur director Fabio Paratici has already spoken to Paulo Dybala, with the forward clear that he plans to leave Juventus at the end of the season, according to a report from Sport.

Dybala is out of contract in Turin in the summer. Juve have offered him a new deal. However, Sport reports that the 28-year-old has informed the Serie A giants that he wants a new challenge.

Inter Milan are interested. Meanwhile, Barcelona are also in the running. But it would appear that Tottenham have attempted to steal a march on their rivals.

Sport reports that Paratici has already spoken to Dybala about a possible move to Tottenham. And they suggest that Spurs have made the strongest offer for the Argentinian so far.

The problem Tottenham face is that Dybala reportedly wants to play in Spain. And clearly, given his age, his next move could be crucial in his career.

‘Special’ Dybala could be an inspired signing for Tottenham on free transfer

Dybala has enjoyed a very decent season with Juve. He has scored 12 goals in all competitions, while he has also provided six assists.

In total, he has had 160 goal involvements in 281 games for the club. And at 28, there is no reason why he cannot continue to make a big impact for some time to come.

Mauricio Pochettino previously labelled Dybala a ‘special‘ talent. He also suggested that he was one of the best in the world.

He is largely unproven away from Italy. However, signing Dybala could definitely prove to be an inspired move from Tottenham.

They clearly have some notable competition with Barca and Inter also monitoring his situation. But Tottenham fans may take encouragement from the fact that Paratici has already got the ball rolling in trying to bring Dybala to North London.
