Manchester City have reportedly made five players available to include in a player-plus-cash deal for Tottenham striker Harry Kane. One of those five players include French defender Aymeric Laporte, after a tricky 2020-21 campaign. Despite that, City fans are not impressed he could join Spurs.
Kane, 27, has been on fire once again for Spurs – but the North London club simply have not been able to match his ambitions. Multiple reports now state that Kane wants to leave his boyhood side and Manchester City are the front runners. But his £150million price tag is a rather big stumbling block.
The Athletic have now reported that five players could be inclued in a deal. It is unclear if more than one could be accompanied by a huge £100million fee. But the identities of that quintet is Raheem Sterling, Gabriel Jesus, Bernardo Silva, Riyad Mahrez and Aymeric Laporte.

What are Manchester City fans saying about Laporte being included in a deal for Tottenham ace Kane?
The latter only started 24 games in all competitions last term – behind the likes of John Stones and Ruben Dias in the pecking order. Understandably, he could be frustrated by that lack of game time. But now, he could be on his way down south to join Tottenham in a deal for England skipper Kane.
Manchester City fans, though, are not impressed. They do not want to lose their £120,000-a-week defender (Spotrac), even if it meant Kane would be a Manchester City player. Many fans have responded on Twitter, ordering their club not to sanction a deal that sees Laporte go to Tottenham.
