Man United eyeing Arsenal target Milos Kerkez

TBR reported in June that Arsenal were seriously interested in signing Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez.

It remains to be seen if they’ll reignite their interest in future windows but anyhow they’re now set to face competition from Manchester United.

According to GiveMeSport, Man United have placed Kerkez on their transfer shortlist as they prioritise cover for Luke Shaw.

Fulham’s Antonee Robinson and Brest’s Bradley Locko are also on their radar for the winter transfer window.

Milos Kerkez doesn’t fit Mikel Arteta’s system

Kerkez is a dynamic left-back who loves to bomb on and get forward.

Nowadays, Arteta has placed more emphasis on having a physically imposing defender in that role, such is why Calafiori was brought into the club.

So, it seems unlikely that they’ll return for the Hungary international in January.

The priority must be a specialist number nine as that’s the weakest area of the squad at the moment, even with Kai Havertz’s sudden rise.

Sporting Viktor Gyokeres should be top of their shortlist after his electrfying start to the season, registering 15 goal involvements already.
