Liverpool finally came away from an away trip in the Premier League this season with all three points.
Their 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur wasn’t their best performance of the season, but was a vital win.
The star of the show was Mohamed Salah, who scored his first league brace of the season.
Liverpool capitalised on a slow start from Spurs, which is becoming a trademark of Antonio Conte’s side.
The hosts were much improved in the second-half, and Harry Kane scored what turned out to be just a consolation goal.

Richards was very complimentary about forward Darwin Nunez, and noticed that Liverpool’s players kept passing to him.
Nunez’s direct style has made him one of the most exciting players to watch in the Premier League.
The 23-year-old isn’t afraid to shoot, and is currently having 4 efforts on goal per game, which is even more than Salah.
Despite this, Nunez recorded his second assist of the season for Salah’s first goal.
His dynamic, sometimes even erratic style can make him very difficult to defend against.
Players kept passing to Nunez – Richards
Richards was very impressed with the Uruguayan forward, especially with his energy off the ball.
“I thought Nunez in particular was magnificent. Straight from the off he was running into that space,” Richards said.
“It was strange because Spurs set up and they had five at the back but they were so narrow.
“Every opportunity they had to get the ball to him [Nunez] they would.
“It helped because Robertson was trying to go on the outside. And it just kept happening throughout the half.”
Nunez has had a mixed start to life at Anfield, after he followed up his goal and assist against Fulham by being sent off against Crystal Palace.

His link-up play with his teammates has been questioned, after he missed a golden opportunity to set Salah up against Manchester City.
However, Nunez has impressed with teammates, with Virgil van Dijk saying he has so much potential to get better.
The fact that Liverpool’s players keep passing to Nunez suggest they know he can cause the opposition plenty of problems.
If Jurgen Klopp can improve his decision-making, he’ll be a very difficult player to deal with.
