Leeds United star Mateusz Klich has been compared with Harry Potter by the Polish media following his opening display at Euro 2020 this week.
Klich was part of the Poland side that suffered a surprise defeat in their curtain-raiser. They were beaten 2-1 by Slovakia in Saint Petersburg.

Paulo Sousa’s side may have fancied their chances of being a surprise package in Group E.
However, they now have plenty of work to do.
There were some bright moments in Monday’s loss. And Klich was often at the heart of them.
The Leeds man played a delicious reverse pass into the box in the build-up for Poland’s equaliser at the start of the second-half.

And that has prompted one outlet in Poland to compare Klich with Harry Potter in their match ratings.
In fact, no player received a higher rating than Klich from Przeglad Sportowy.
The Leeds midfielder was scored 6/10 for his display, with the outlet suggesting the following…
“When he puts on his glasses off the pitch, he resembles the book wizard Harry Potter. He has managed to show some magic at least twice on the St. Petersburg grassland.
“The first time he found Maciej Rybus great and it was 1-1. After the second – Karol Linetta was close to getting 2-1. Seems he knew what to do on the pitch.”
Leeds stars continue to catch the eye at Euro 2020
Ultimately, the praise will probably matter little to Klich. His focus will be on helping Poland get a win that will boost their hopes of reaching the knockout stages.
But it will please Leeds supporters that a couple of their players are catching the eye at Euro 2020.
Kalvin Phillips was the star of the show as England beat Croatia at Wembley.
Gjanni Alioski meanwhile, attracted a lot of attention for his display as North Macedonia pushed Austria on their bow in the tournament.
When Leeds fans sit back and reflect, this tournament has provided yet another reminder of their progress, with four others also in the competition.
In other news, Real Madrid now plan to monitor one Leeds player throughout Euro 2020, according to reports
