A number of Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to laud Jordan Henderson after his outstanding performance in the Merseyside derby win over Everton on Wednesday.
The Reds added to the pressure on Rafa Benitez at Goodison Park. Liverpool largely cruised to a comfortable victory in the derby.

And it was Henderson who set Jurgen Klopp’s men on their way. The 31-year-old scored a stunning goal to break the deadlock inside nine minutes against the Toffees.
The captain then set up Mohamed Salah for the visitors’ second 10 minutes later.
And while Everton came back into the game a little bit before half-time – and even got a goal back – Liverpool put the exclamation point on the win with Salah and Diogo Jota scoring after the break.

Some Reds players were perhaps not at their best on the night. But Liverpool did not need to be in top gear across the pitch – particularly with players like Henderson producing a masterclass in the middle of the park.
He seemed to be everywhere, even making a significant impact down the right flank.
The skipper has perhaps not stood out in recent weeks. It has been performances from the likes of Thiago and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain that have been talked about and lauded by supporters.

But any doubts about Henderson were silenced in emphatic fashion. He could have hardly done more to step up and lead Liverpool to another comfortable win on the road.
