A number of Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react to reports claiming that Divock Origi is a potential loan target for Newcastle United in the January transfer window.
The Magpies are going to be the side to watch in the winter. Eddie Howe’s men have now fallen to bottom in the Premier League after drawing with Brentford at the weekend.

But there were some encouraging signs in the first game they have played since his appointment was confirmed.
That will leave them with plenty of hope heading into January. And it would be no surprise if some of the teams just above them were just as concerned about what will happen if they get cut adrift due to how they could respond in the new year.
And one of the players apparently on their radar is Origi. The Northern Echo reports that the Belgian is a potential loan target for the Magpies.

Origi has only made two substitute appearances for the Reds in the Premier League this season. But of course, he has scored some incredibly important goals for Jurgen Klopp’s side during his time at Anfield.
With that in mind, Howe is perhaps hoping that he could potentially come up with some massive strikes to ensure that the Magpies are a top flight side again next year.
