Liverpool fans discuss links with Arsenal star Bukayo Saka on Twitter

A number of Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports this week claiming that the Reds are interested in Arsenal starlet Bukayo Saka – and he would apparently be open to considering a future move.

Saka has continued to be a revelation for the Gunners this term. The 20-year-old initially seemed to take a little time to rediscover his best form for Mikel Arteta’s men. And yet, he still has five goals and four assists in the Premier League this season.

He has played a key role in guiding the Gunners into the top four in the top-flight. And it would appear that his performances are not going unnoticed.

Ian McGarry claimed on The Transfer Window Podcast that Liverpool expect to sell at least two of their forwards in the future windows. And with that, Saka is a player on their radar.

It is claimed that Arsenal have been in contact with his representatives about handing the England international a new contract at the Emirates. However, McGarry also suggested that Saka would be interested in a future Anfield switch.

Liverpool clearly are one of the two best teams in the country right now. And they have been now for several years. However, it is hard to see Saka leaving Arsenal for Anfield.

The Gunners are making a lot of progress under Arteta. And Saka is a vital cog for the club he loves. So he will surely want to see where Arsenal can go before considering his future.
