Liverpool could launch a late transfer window move to sign Wolves midfielder, Ruben Neves, who is said to have impressed the Reds scouts lately.
The Reds are in the market for a new midfielder after Jurgen Klopp claimed a need for a new midfielder was now being reassessed with injuries mounting up at Anfield. A number of names have been mentioned in the last few days but now 90Min has thrown in Wolves midfielder Neves into the mix.
The ‘sensational’ Neves is thought to be valued by Wolves at around £50m and has been the subject of interest from the likes of Arsenal and Barcelona. However, he has been given the armband by Bruno Lage and got on the scoresheet this weekend as Wolves drew with Newcastle.

Neves has expressed a desire to feature in the Champions League but with just days of the window left, it remains to be seen if Liverpool can piece together the sort of bid it would take for Wolves to say yes.
The Portuguese midfielder has been a key cog for Wolves ever since he signed when they were in the Championship.
TBR’s View: Neves Would Shine For Liverpool
Some players are made for the big stage and there will surely be a point in time where Neves outgrows Wolves.
That’s not to say Wolves aren’t a big club and doing well in their own right. But there are nowhere the Champions League places right now and Neves will have a nagging thought in there somewhere that he’ll need to take his moment sooner rather than later.
For Liverpool, Neves would be a superb signing. Not many midfielders could go to Anfield and make a claim to start, but even if everyone is fully fit, Neves is that sort of player.
