Lewis Bate and Kido Taylor-Hart laud Miguel Azeez on Instagram
Kido Taylor-Hart and Leeds United starlet Lewis Bate were amongst those to send messages to Miguel Azeez on Instagram after the Arsenal starlet scored a stunning goal on international duty on Monday.
Azeez opened the scoring as England’s under-20s beat Czech Republic 5-0. And the 19-year-old managed it in some style.
The Young Lions won the ball back on the edge of the Czech area. It then fell to Azeez, who took one touch to steady himself.
And the Gunners man then managed to find the top corner with a sumptuous effort on his left foot that the goalkeeper could get nowhere near.
A number of Arsenal fans expressed their excitement about the goal. They remain adamant that there is a future place in the first-team with his name on it, despite his struggles out on loan.
And it seems that some of his teammates were just as impressed.
Taylor-Hart encapsulated how many Arsenal fans felt as he pointed out that Azeez only seems to score remarkable goals.
But Leeds’ £1.5 million man Bate also hit the nail on the head for several supporters, by simply lauding the quality of the Arsenal teenager…
International break a much-needed positive for Miguel Azeez
There are not too many fans who will be thankful for the international break. They always appear to come at the worst times for every team, no matter what situation they find themselves in.
But Azeez may have welcomed this break. He has only made one league appearance for Portsmouth, with injury ruling him out more recently.
His goal will hand his confidence a big boost. And everyone will now be hoping that he now shows why it seemed such a big coup for Pompey to land him this summer.
