Arsenal fans react on Twitter to Miguel Azeez goal for England under-20s

A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Miguel Azeez after the midfielder scored a superb goal for England’s under-20s on Monday.

Andy Edwards’s men stormed to a 5-0 victory over Czech Republic. And it was Azeez who broke the deadlock inside 15 minutes.

Arsenal fans are becoming used to seeing Azeez score some stunning goals. So it would have come as little surprise to many that his latest strike came from outside the box and found the top corner.

The Young Lions won the ball back on the edge of the home side’s penalty area. It fell to Azeez. And after taking one touch to steady himself, he sent his effort flying into the back of the net with his left foot.

It is a further indicator that Azeez has the potential to enjoy a superb career.

Admittedly, his loan spell at Portsmouth has not got off to the best start.

He was struggling with injury just before the international break. And he has, so far, only made one appearance in League One since moving to Fratton Park.

But clearly, he has the quality to bounce back. Certainly, plenty of Arsenal fans on Twitter are already looking beyond what he does while with Pompey.
