Leeds United appear to be pushing to sign Jonathan Rowe from Norwich City following the departure of Crysensio Summerville.
Summerville left Leeds to join West Ham United earlier this month, which leaves the Whites with a hole to fill in their attack.
Summerville was an integral part of Leeds’ campaign last year, with much of Daniel Farke’s side’s offensive threat coming down his flank.
His departure certainly has given them a void to fill and Leeds have wasted little time getting to work in replacing him.
Immediately, Leeds are said to be preparing a bid for Rowe, but it seems that they also have contingency plans in case they are not able to get the youngster away from Norwich.

Leeds still have an interest in Jerusun Rak Sakyi
If Leeds fail to get Rowe over the line, they could move for Crystal Palace’s Jesurun Rak Sakyi, according to Alan Nixon.
The Palace wide player, labelled as a ‘wonderkid’ per the Hull Daily Mail, has been linked with several clubs across the Premier League and EFL, with Southampton the only club to submit a formal bid.
The Eagles knocked back that approach and are only considering a loan move to the second tier as they clearly feel he has the scope to become a first-teamer under Oliver Glasner.
Sheffield United appear to be leading the race at this stage for Rak Sakyi whilst Hull City continue to circle.
Jerusun Rak Sakyi would be the better fit
With Gnonto expected to ply his trade off the left this season, Rowe wouldn’t be able to play his favoured role, or at least, he’d have to try and displace the Italian.
Whereas Rak Sakyi, a left-footer, operates as a right winger, so he’d certainly be considered an upgrade on Dan James.
Though, any deal for the Palace youngster would be a loan, which isn’t ideal for Leeds.
