Hertha Berlin have reportedly dropped their asking price for Matheus Cunha, with Leeds said to be looking at him. Initial reports suggested Leeds might have to break their transfer record. But a new report says Hertha now want £21.5million for Cunha – and Leeds fans have taken to Twitter.

Cunha, 22, has caught the eye after a wonderful 20-21 campaign with Hertha in which he had a hand in 13 goals during 27 Bundesliga games. He has continued that form at this summer’s Olympics, helping Brazil reach the final. He has scored two goals and created another in four games.

What are Leeds fans saying about Cunha and his £21.5m asking price?

The Express previously claim that Leeds would have to pay £30million to get the former RB Leipzig man. But a new report, from TuttoMercatoWeb, say Hertha have reduced that asking price by £8.5million. However, Leeds are not alone in pursuit of Cunha – with Zenit and Monaco also keen.

Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to discuss the incoming reports regarding Cunha. Many believe that at that price, Cunha is a player Victor Orta must move heaven and earth to sign. One fan labelled the arrival of Cunha as “absolutely incredible” while another Tweeted Andrea Radrizzani.
