Leeds fans react as Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham and others reportedly eye Kalvin Phillips, potential new deal
Leeds United are ready to make Kalvin Phillips their best-paid player in order to fend off interest – and Leeds fans have reacted on Twitter.
Phillips, 25, has enjoyed a brilliant 18 months. Promotion to the Premier League, he became an England regular – reaching the Euro 2020 final.
A Leeds favourite and a potential future captain, Phillips has clocked up a huge 215 appearances for the Whites at senior level – and 17 England caps.
His burgeoning reputation has not gone unnoticed, though. TeamTalk say five of the Premier League’s biggest clubs are looking to sign the Leeds ace.
Tottenham, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City are all said to be looking at Phillips – who currently has a contract at Leeds until 2025.
