Leeds United continue to have their eye on some of the most impressive youngsters coming through right now, with reports over the weekend claiming that the Whites are plotting a bid for Calvin Ramsay.
Ramsay has been tipped for big things with Aberdeen. He has made over 30 appearances for the Dons this season. And he has been linked with clubs such as Liverpool, as well as Leeds.

The 18-year-old is a right-back valued at around £3 million. And clearly, it would be a coup for Leeds if they could ultimately land his signature ahead of some of the competition.
It would be interesting to see what sort of role he would play if he moved to Elland Road. Leeds have not tended to rush the young players coming through, with Joe Gelhardt waiting well over a year for his debut.

With Luke Ayling still a key player, Ramsay may be looked at as a player to perhaps succeed the vice-captain in the coming years. And with that, another member of the Leeds squad may have questions about his own future.
Would Leeds signing Calvin Ramsay push Cody Drameh towards Elland Road exit?
The Whites loaned Cody Drameh to Cardiff in January. It came after the defender had made a handful of appearances under Marcelo Bielsa. And generally, he looked impressive.
Bielsa suggested that he wanted to keep the 20-year-old. But Drameh has gone on to thrive in the Championship. Cardiff boss Steve Morison labelled him a ‘special‘ player after one display.
Many Leeds fans may hope that Drameh is back in the fold next year. But it does seem likely that Ayling will remain in the picture. And with that, he may, once again, have to bide his time waiting for opportunities.
Should Leeds sign Ramsay, they may perhaps be more open to offers for Drameh. Wales Online have suggested that a number of teams want him on loan ahead of the summer.
Drameh is probably further along in his development than Ramsay. But if he already has doubts about what his future holds, and Leeds then sign Ramsay, surely he will want some real assurances before choosing to stick around.
