Ledley King has taken to Twitter to laud Tottenham Hotspur for their positive performance against Liverpool, and picked out two Spurs players he was very impressed by.
Antonio Conte remains unbeaten in the Premier League since being appointed in North London. And his side passed their toughest test yet, as they came up against the Reds.

It was Tottenham who took the lead with Harry Kane scoring his second league goal of the campaign. Liverpool would strike back through with Diogo Jota levelling the game before the break.
And it was the Reds who went in front in the second-half. But they were not ahead for long, with Son Heung-min equalising five minutes later.

Liverpool would end the game with 10 men with Andy Robertson getting a red card. Spurs meanwhile, were fortunate not to go down to 10 men themselves following a challenge on Robertson from Kane. Admittedly, Kane claimed after the game that Robertson suggested that it was not a foul in his view.
On paper, it was a superb result for Tottenham as they continue their push for a top spot. But based on the chances Spurs had, they may feel that it was actually a missed opportunity.

Certainly, there are plenty of positives for Conte’s men to take from the contest. Like Liverpool, they were forced to make a number of changes.
One of those involved Dele Alli coming in for his first league start under the Italian. Dele had a golden chance to score. But his overall performance was encouraging, with Conte praising him at full-time.
And he has received further praise from King. The Tottenham legend suggested that both Dele and Eric Dier were the standouts…
