Leandro Trossard's wife shares photoshopped picture of him in an Arsenal shirt
Arsenal are on the verge of signing Brighton and Hove Albion attacker Leandro Trossard.
Multiple reports, including one from The Athletic, revealed yesterday that the Gunners reached an agreement with the Seagulls to sign the Belgium international on a permanent deal.
The transfer is not completed just yet, but Trossard’s wife, Laura Hilven, appears to have dropped a hint on Instagram last night, suggesting that a deal is done.

Fabrizio Romano declared his famous ‘here we go’ with Arsenal fans to reveal that Trossard is set to move to the Emirates soon.
The journalist then shared more details about the deal on Twitter.
He revealed that a four-year contract has been agreed between Arsenal and Trossard, with the Gunners paying Brighton a fixed fee of £21 million plus £6 million in potential add-ons.
Trossard is set to have his medical and complete his move to Arsenal today, and before he could officially wear a Gunners shirt, his wife, Laura, shared a photoshopped picture of her husband wearing an Arsenal shirt on her Instagram Stories.
Trossard’s wife’s Instagram account has been set to private now. But, eagled-eyed Arsenal fans managed to take a screenshot of her story, and that is all over social media now.
The picture we’re talking about can be seen on @iemadAFC’s Twitter account.
TBR View:
Trossard is not the big-name signing that Arsenal fans dreamed of, but the 28-year-old is a ‘magnificent‘ player in his own right.
He is a full Belgium international, knows the Premier League very well and has an amazing record of scoring against the top sides in the country.
Opta’s Harvey Downes revealed on Twitter yesterday: “13 of Leandro Trossard’s 25 Premier League goals have come against the traditional ‘big 6’ sides, with only Mo Salah (23) & Harry Kane (14) netting more goals against such opposition since the start of the 2019/20 campaign.”
That’s an incredible record and Arsenal fans should be very happy with this deal.
