A number of Spurs fans have reacted in shock after hearing how much their club reportedly bid for Adama Traore this week.

Spurs were heavily linked with the Wolves and Spain winger during the summer transfer window.

Indeed, speculation linking Tottenham with Traore carried on right until deadline day.

However, Spurs didn’t manage to land the 25-year-old before the transfer window shut.

According to The Athletic, Tottenham tried their luck on Monday with a £30million bid.

However, Wolves reportedly rejected it – BBC Sport added that they wanted £50million.

And despite reports hinting at a deadline day bid, The Athletic said Tottenham didn’t come back for him on Tuesday.
