Leeds United are being linked with Burnley star Josh Brownhill – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter claim they would love to see him at Elland Road.
TEAMtalk claims that the Whites have contacted Premier League rivals about Burnley because they like their 25-year-old midfielder.
Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa is reportedly a big fan of his, but rivals West Ham and Aston Villa have also shown interest in recent times.
The report explains that Brownhill joined Burnley for £10million in January 2020 from Bristol City, but they now value him at around £15million after an excellent 18 months playing at Turf Moor.
Brownhill, who earns £40,000-a-week, is a jack of all trades in the centre of the park.
He’s a central midfielder that can do a disciplined job in a deeper role protecting the defence and he reads the game very well. In addition, the Englishman is extremely comfortable on the ball and a strong passer.
However, the workhorse is someone that is still under contract with Burnley until 2024.

He’s made a seamless step up to the Premier League during his time with Burnley, so perhaps he could offer a lot to Bielsa’s ranks.
Bielsa loves his midfielders to have energy and to be brave on the ball. Therefore, it makes sense. He looks It would take a little while adapting to the contrasting style of play compared to his current club, but he’s got the potential to shine if any kind of deal is struck.
