A report has shared how Miguel Almiron is described behind the scenes at Newcastle United, and provided an insight into how Kieran Trippier feels about playing alongside the Paraguayan.
Miguel Almiron looks to be a contender to leave St James’ Park in the final week of the January transfer window. Newcastle would apparently rather sell Almiron than either Kieran Trippier or Callum Wilson.
There is interest from Al-Shabab, with a deal apparently provisionally agreed. Unfortunately, the links highlight how Newcastle need to move players on to give them room within the Profit and Sustainability rules.
Kieran Trippier and Newcastle teammates love Miguel Almiron
It has been a turbulent time for Almiron since his £21 million move to Tyneside. And it seems that there is a chance that he could move on.

Judging by a report from The Athletic, Almiron leaving would disappoint a number of Newcastle players, with the 29-year-old extremely popular behind the scenes.
The report notes that his personality is infectious and his positivity lifts his teammates. It is also noted that Kieran Trippier loves playing alongside Almiron.
Losing Paraguayan would be a big blow to Magpies
It is no surprise that Trippier is a fan of the former Atlanta United star. Almiron works so hard off the ball for the team. And that probably takes a lot of the pressure of the 33-year-old.
He would certainly leave a big void if he did leave the club. Thankfully for Newcastle, Eddie Howe has put together a squad who work endlessly for each other. It is remarkable what he has done with some of the players who were previously written off by many.
Almiron was one of those who looked destined to be a flop at Newcastle. But he has shut so many of us up.
And clearly, it would be a real shame to the Newcastle players if Almiron did end up moving on in the coming days.
