Kieran Richardson has told Rio Ferdinand’s YouTube channel that he believes that Tottenham Hotspur have the best front three in the Premier League right now ahead of Liverpool – and admitted that it was painful to say given who he supports.
Tottenham are one of the most in-form sides in the top-flight. Antonio Conte’s men are the only team to have won their last four Premier League games. And that has helped put Spurs in pole position for fourth spot and a return to the Champions League.

Of course, the key reason for their success has been the quality of their front three. Son Heung-min, Harry Kane and Dejan Kulusevski have been sensational of late.
Son has scored six in his last three. Kane has five assists in three. And Kulusevski has scored one and set up two more.

Those sorts of numbers from a front three may make some think of Liverpool. Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino have been the Reds’ fab three for some time. And Diogo Jota has helped them kick on further this season.
Liverpool remain right in the mix for the title. But Richardson – who noted that he is a boyhood Arsenal fan – claimed that Tottenham’s attacking trio get the nod for him on current form.
“I hate saying it. I hate saying but, Tottenham, their front three, best in the league at the moment,” he told Rio Ferdinand’s YouTube channel. “At this moment in time, best in the league. For form, better than Liverpool, for me. Even though I prefer Liverpool’s. But after Liverpool, their front three is the best.”
Tottenham front three make Spurs overwhelming favourites for fourth
Spurs have the momentum right now. They have seven more games to go. And you would not be surprised to see them score a raft of goals before the campaign concludes.
Kane is arguably playing better than he ever has. Son has been absolutely lethal of late. And Kulusevski has proved to be an absolutely inspired signing.
They are still a work in progress. But you can see why Richardson puts the Tottenham front three ahead of Liverpool’s right now.
