'Keep hold of him': Tim Sherwood urges Aston Villa not to sell 'incredible talent' this summer
Former Villains boss Tim Sherwood says Aston Villa must keep Jacob Ramsey at the club beyond the summer transfer window.
Ramsey signed a new contract near the end of last month which would keep him at Villa Park until 2027 if he sees it out.
Of course, Jack Grealish had a long contract in the summer which contained a release clause.
There is absolutely no suggestion Ramsey has something similar or is looking to leave, but Sherwood said on the Kelly and Wrighty Show that Villa have to keep him.

Sherwood says Villa must keep Ramsey
“He’s always been a podium player as a kid,” said Sherwood of Ramsey.
“I remember the youth guys always talking about this kid at Villa. He’s just outstanding.
“He arrives, he can finish well off both feet and times his runs perfectly. He’s got a huge future, just that coldness in front of goal.
“He’s an incredible talent with a big future and they need to keep hold of him.”
Danny Murphy has said that Ramsey should be in the England squad for the 2022 World Cup, which is a mark of his progress this season.
Steven Gerrard’s influence is likely huge, as one of the best central midfielders of his generation and there cannot be a better manager for Ramsey to learn from at this stage.
It would be a major surprise if he departed this summer, and it should take absolutely enormous money to make Villa even think about it.
