Kalvin Phillips has expressed his delight on Instagram after Leeds United announced on their official website that Tyler Roberts has signed a new contract at Elland Road.

Roberts’s future with the Whites had been a talking point for a little while. The Wales international was heading towards the final year of his previous deal.

And it seemed that he was attracting attention. Newcastle United were recently linked with a move for the £10 million-rated forward.

Roberts has been a divisive player throughout his time at Elland Road. On his day, he looks an outstanding talent.

However, some may argue that his day comes nowhere near often enough.
