Kalvin Phillips reacts to Leeds announcement
Kalvin Phillips has expressed his delight on Instagram after Leeds United announced on their official website that Tyler Roberts has signed a new contract at Elland Road.
Roberts’s future with the Whites had been a talking point for a little while. The Wales international was heading towards the final year of his previous deal.
Roberts has been a divisive player throughout his time at Elland Road. On his day, he looks an outstanding talent.
However, some may argue that his day comes nowhere near often enough.
Nevertheless, he was excellent for much of the second-half of the past campaign. So it seems likely that most will be delighted with the news coming from the Whites on Wednesday.
The club have confirmed that Roberts has signed a new contract. His new deal is set to run until 2024.
Unsurprisingly, his teammates appear to be delighted with the news. Phillips swiftly took to social media to congratulate the forward…
Leeds start window brilliantly with Tyler Roberts contract announcement
Leeds fans are incredibly excited about what is to come in the coming months.
Marcelo Bielsa’s men made an amazing return to the Premier League. And with a few more inspired signings, they can surely set their sights on taking a further step forward next year.
The club are awaiting their first addition of the window. But the news that Roberts has signed a new contract at Leeds will please many.
He looks to have the talent for the highest level. And if he can produce a little more consistency and prove a little more lethal in the final third, Roberts could have a big role to play in the coming years.
