Kacper Kozlowski dreams of big club move amid Liverpool interest
Liverpool have been handed a potential boost in their pursuit of young Polish midfielder, Kacper Kozlowski, after the teenager admitted it was his ‘dream’ to play for a big club.
Kozlowski is being linked with a host of Europe’s top clubs after impressing for Pogon and the Polish national team. In the summer, he became the youngest player to play in a Euros, eclipsing Jude Bellingham’s record.
We reported earlier today how Liverpool were in the mix to land Kozlowski, and it seems the youngster is keen on making the jump to one of the giants of the game if he can.
Speaking to Sport Interia, Kozlowski admitted that his dream is to eventually move on.
“I try to cut myself off from this type of information. Let my agent handle it. I don’t know what I will do tomorrow, much less whether I will finish the season in Pogoń or leave in winter,” Kozlowski said.
“I don’t think about it, I do my own thing. And big names. they do not impress me. My dream is to play in this class of club in the future, but I think that the best thing to do is to apply the principle of small steps to reach the goal “
The Reds, though, will be encouraged by the comments from the young Pole.
TBR’s View: Kozlowski one to watch, Liverpool right to be keen
It’s always nice to see a young player want to better themselves and it’s also nice to see Kozlowski is focussing on the here and now too.
The Polish starlet is certainly one of the brightest prospects in Europe at the moment. Five caps already for his country suggests just that. Comparisons to Kevin De Bruyne further enhance that thought.
Liverpool, then, would be wise to seal this deal ASAP. Otherwise, any number of clubs will no doubt be making their move.
