‘Just don’t get it’, ‘Insulting’: Some Arsenal fans rage at rumour on their £15m-rated player

Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette is being rumoured with a potential £15m exit during this transfer window – but some Gunners fans on Twitter are not happy with the speculation.

The Sun claims that Arsenal are looking to sell their striker this summer because he’s now in the final year of his contract at the Emirates Stadium. His deal is worth a staggering £175,000-a-week.

It is understood that he rated at £15million by the Gunners, so they will let him go for a figure in that ballpark.

Also, Mikel Arteta’s side may step up a bid to sign Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham if they make the sale.

Lacazette netted 17 goals during the last campaign across all competitions. However, it looks like Arsenal want to cash in while they can still get a transfer fee. As it stands, they risk losing him on a free next summer.

The Frenchman relies on his great movement and clinical touch around the box, so has always been a decent goalscoring option.

There are plenty of clubs that should be attracted to Lacazette for £15million, albeit wages would be a big stumbling block.
