'Just amazing', 'What a player': Some Arsenal fans react to 'brilliant' news concerning 24-year-old
A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react to the news – confirmed by the Daily Mail – that Kieran Tierney has made an early return to pre-season training.
The Gunners did not get off to the best start after their arrival in Scotland. Mikel Arteta’s men were beaten 2-1 by Hibernian in their first friendly this week.
But they have since received a big boost. And it will surprise few Arsenal fans to see who has provided that boost.
As reported by the Daily Mail, Tierney has decided to return to pre-season training one week early. He had been given additional time off after featuring for Scotland at Euro 2020.
It appears that the former Celtic man could possibly be in contention to feature against Rangers this weekend.
But for many, Tierney’s return is a further reminder of just how impressive his attitude is.
The left-back has often set the standard throughout his time at the Emirates. And he has recently been linked with being offered a new contract.
‘Love him’: Arsenal fans delighted with Tierney return
For some, it reinforces the idea that he is a future captain. And on the pitch, it is obviously a boost to have him back ahead of schedule.
With that in mind, here is how some of the Arsenal fans reacted to the news concerning Tierney and his return to training…
