Ivan Toney has been one of the most hotly discussed players in regards to the transfer window over the past 18 months.
Indeed, the Brentford striker has been discussed as a transfer target for almost every top club in the Premier League at this point.
Arsenal have been linked with Toney for a long time, while Tottenham want to sign him this summer.
As of yet, the Brentford striker hasn’t got a move, and speaking on The Debrief, Ben Jacobs has now shared what he’s been hearing about Toney.
According to the journalist, there have been whispers that Toney could move to Saudi Arabia next summer as a free agent.

Ivan Toney could move to Saudi Arabia as a free agent
Jacobs shared what he’s heard about Toney.
“I think alongside Osimhen you could even see Saudi move for a player like Ivan Toney who could wait for free agency and he could be tempted if Saudi come calling. There’s been no approach yet but there are whispers from Saudi sources that Toney and Saudi could become a thing,” Jacobs said.
What Ivan Toney has said about his future
Ivan Toney is now being linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, but that switch does seem unlikely.
Of course, money talks in football, but Toney has been very clear that he wants to play at the highest level.
“But I think everybody wants to play at the top of the tree, not that Brentford aren’t there, but I feel like playing for a big club and fighting for trophies and these kind of things everyone wants to do. If the chance was to come along, I think I would be silly not to look more into it.
“The manager knows I want to be playing at the highest level possible. Whenever that time comes, so be it.”
Toney wants to play at the highest level, and with all due respect to the Saudi Pro League, there isn’t that level of prestige attached to playing in the middle-east, despite the number of stars who have made the move in recent times.
