'A matter of time': Leeds still intent on signing £33m 'phenomenon' who Arsenal wanted in September - Journalist
Leeds United could be looking for a few new signings in January and Noa Lang is reportedly a player still on their radar.
The 23-year-old has been in fine form for Club Brugge once again. He’s hit four goals for the Belgian side but it is accepted that Lang could move on if the right bid comes in.
And according to journalist Dean Jones, Lang is very much a player who Leeds could still make a move for at some point.
“I think he’s still on the radar, and I think it is only a matter of time before Noa Lang does land in England. I think he’s still on the radar, and I think it is only a matter of time before Noa Lang does land in England,” Jones said for GiveMeSport.
Labelled a ‘phenomenon‘ for his excellent performances in Belgium, Lang is a player who excites in wide areas.
Arsenal did try and make a move for him when it became apparent they weren’t signing Raphinha. Whether or not the Gunners go back in for Lang, though, remains to be seen.
TBR’s View: Leeds should push to sign Lang
Leeds picked up a bit before the break but they still need some players in January to ensure the relegation threat disappears completely.
Jesse Marsch got some good players in the door over the summer but he still needs more. Noa Lang is a player who excites and given Leeds like a good wide player, he’d fit in well at Elland Road.
For Lang, a move to England is surely the next logical step. If he can prove himself on these shores, then the world really is his oyster.
