Tottenham Hotspur are seemingly making good progress towards signing Everton forward Richarlison.
On Wednesday, Fabrizio Romano claimed Spurs were ‘progressing’ in talks with the Toffees.
He added that “negotiations are well advanced on personal terms”.
Meanwhile, talks between Tottenham and Everton will reportedly continue this week.
With Chelsea pursuing Raphinha, the path may just be clear for Spurs to make their move for the Brazilian.
Now, talkSPORT journalist Alex Crook – writing on GiveMeSport – has shared his thoughts about Richarlison to Tottenham.
He claims Fabio Paratici and Antonio Conte “clearly admire” the 25-year-old.
However, Crook also feels that talks “could drag on a bit” as he may not be a “priority” for Tottenham.
Therefore, Tottenham “can afford to wait and bide their time”, he added.
Crook wrote on GiveMeSport: “I think that will be one that could drag on a bit because I don’t think he’s a priority for Tottenham.
“I think he’s a luxury signing, someone that Paratici and Conte clearly admire and would like to bring in, but I don’t think it’s a necessity. They can afford to wait and bide their time.”

According to The Mirror, Everton are standing firm on their £60million valuation of Richarlison, despite an apparent threat of a points deduction.
‘The Blues are reluctant to sell their star player, but must face up to the stark reality of a serious sanction from the Premier League, if they fail to comply with profit and sustainability rules relating to debts’, claimed the report.
