Jose Enrique believes Liverpool should look at signing Chelsea star Tammy Abraham this summer, with the England ace likely to be on the move. Arsenal are reportedly said to be eyeing a move, as Chelsea look to bring in a striker of their own. Enrique thinks Liverpool should take a look.
Abraham, 23, has been in and out of the Chelsea side over the past 12 months. Used regularly by Frank Lampard, his game time dropped under Thomas Tuchel – with the German preferring his fellow countryman in Timo Werner and Kai Havertz. He has just two years left on his deal.
Liverpool had been linked with a move for Donyell Malen, but Fabrizio Romano says Borussia Dortmund are close to a move for the striker. Ex-Reds defender Enrique spoke about Malen’s move to Dortmund, and responded in the comments to a fan regarding Abraham.

Could Liverpool really win Abraham race – with Arsenal ready to pounce?
The Telegraph claim that Abraham is rated at £40million with Arsenal keen on luring the England striker to The Emirates. Moving to Arsenal, Abraham has a real chance of starting for Mikel Arteta’s side – with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang preferred out wide.
Eddie Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazette could leave. So, Arsenal need a striker and he could start for the Gunners. At Liverpool, he will not start above Roberto Firmino. While Liverpool have more games to play having in Europe, he will be in a similar situation to the one he is in at Chelsea.
But would Abraham prefer to be at a club in European football, a club that have a much better chance of winning trophies? Or would he prefer to remain in London and get more regular Premier League game time. Surely, a move to Arsenal is more beneficial than one to Liverpool.
