Joao Felix has urged Arsenal and Liverpool-linked midfielder Renato Sanches to join Atletico Madrid this summer, on Instagram. The Lille midfielder looks set to be on the move after starring at Euro 2020. Both Arsenal and Liverpool have been linked with Sanches recently.
Sanches, 23, has rejuvenated his career over the past couple of seasons. He joined Bayern with the potential of a wonderkid, but fell by the wayside. Sanches then moved to Lille where he has impressed, helping them win the Ligue 1 title. His form continued into Euro 2020 this summer.
While Portugal exited at the last 16 stage, Sanches gained plaudits. L’Equipe claim, as per The Mail, that both Liverpool and Arsenal want Lille’s £30million man. But his Portugal teammate Felix wants him at Atletico, posting on his Instagram, and Sanches hinted he is keen with his reply.

Who needs Sanches more after Felix claim – Arsenal or Liverpool?
Well, there is no doubting that both need midfielders. Arsenal need a player to go alongside Thomas Partey with Granit Xhaka closing in on a move to Roma. Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi are expected to be sold. So, Arsenal certainly need Sanches, but so do Liverpool.
The Reds need to replace Gini Wijnaldum and Sanches makes sense. But the Reds do still have plenty of options in midfield in Curtis Jones, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita, while Takumi Minamino remains on the books. Arsenal need him more, but Liverpool could do with him.
