Arsenal have been fairly busy on the transfer front in recent days, though this activity has involved outgoings rather than incomings.
The Gunners have offloaded Nuno Tavares to Lazio on a loan with obligation to buy, while Albert Sambi Lokonga has joined Sevilla on loan with option to buy.
Arsenal have also released Mohamed Elneny, Cedric Soares and Arthur Okonkwo on free transfers after their contracts expired at the end of June.
Now, another Gunners player – one who Jeff Stelling has praised as having “massive potential” – is in line for a move away, with a London rival said to be trying to sign him.

Jeff Stelling says Arsenal ace Emile Smith Rowe has ‘massive potential’
The player in question is Emile Smith Rowe, one of the brightest talents to graduate from the Hale End academy in recent years.
The 23-year-old has sadly struggled with injuries in recent years, which have hampered his chances of game time, and that has put his future up in the air.
Reports have claimed that Smith Rowe will leave Arsenal this summer, and Fulham have apparently made an offer for the playmaker, which the Gunners have rejected.
Stelling, speaking on talkSPORT, believes plenty more clubs will be interested in Smith Rowe this summer.
“He is a young man who has got massive potential,” said Stelling. “Injuries and then the progression of the Arsenal team just haven’t helped him.
“Look, he is still just 23. I think there will be plenty of clubs interested in him, not just (Crystal) Palace and Fulham.”
Smith Rowe will be in demand this summer
It’s a shame how things have panned out for Smith Rowe at Arsenal.
When he made his breakthrough, many were confident he’d be the next Hale End graduate after Bukayo Saka to become a star for club and country.
However, Smith Rowe’s fitness issues have sadly had an impact on his game time, and now it seems like he’s fallen behind at the Emirates Stadium.
At the same time, Smith Rowe has clearly proven himself as a player who is Arsenal-level quality, which means he’d surely become a star for most other clubs in the Premier League.
With that in mind, there’s no doubt that there will be a lot more interest in him over the coming weeks.
