According to a Sky Sports journalist, Arsenal understand that one of their talented players will have to leave the club this summer transfer window.
The North Londoners are on the verge of signing Italy and Bologna defender Riccardo Calafiori after his starring performances at Euro 2024.
Arsenal are also being linked with Spain’s Dani Olmo, who is on course to win the Golden Boot at the tournament.
Though, to facilitate these incomings, they’ll have to move players on to comply with Profit and Sustainability regulations.
That said, there is a belief one highly-rated Arsenal player will have to leave this summer.

Arsenal accept Emile Smith Rowe will have to leave
Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth believes there is an acceptance at Arsenal that Emile Smith Rowe will have to leave this summer.
“He wants to assess all of his options, his primary motivation is regular first-team football,” Sheth said.
“He’s not going to get it if Martin Odegaard is at Arsenal for as long as he’s there.
“So as much as Mikel Arteta likes Emile Smith Rowe there’s probably an understanding at Arsenal that he’s going to need to move away to get first-team football.”
Fulham interested in Emile Smith Rowe
TBR reported earlier this week Fulham plan to intensify their interest for Smith Rowe soon so there could be a formal bid in the coming week.
Aston Villa have also been mooted as a potential destination for the 23-year-old playmaker, though, those links have gone quiet of late.
Arsenal are believed to value Smith Rowe, labelled as ‘extraordinary’ per Arsenal’s website, at £40m, which seems a little excessive, so it remains to be seen if suitors will be put off by the asking price.
