‘Zero clue’: Tottenham-supporting pundit slams Levy, with club back to square one

Former Tottenham player and self-confessed Spurs fan, Jamie O’Hara, has slammed Daniel Levy for his handling of replacing Jose Mourinho.

Spurs are still looking for a new manager after a deal for Paulo Fonseca collapsed yesterday. Following on from that, it emerged that Gennaro Gattuso was in the frame. However, reports this morning have since suggested otherwise.

It leaves Spurs and Levy back at square one and with no new manager anywhere being appointed for now.

Roberto Martinez is one manager who is said to still be of interest to the club. As of this morning, it is claimed the Spaniard is still a possibility.

However, the whole search for a Mourinho successor has been quite farcical for the club. And O’Hara, who played for the club, took to Twitter to vent his frustrations at the situation.

O’Hara, who is a regular on Talksport, is never afraid to hide his opinion when it comes to Tottenham.

The former midfielder and now pundit is a keen fan, and his views sometimes cross paths with his love for the club.

Tottenham and Levy need to sort this out, O’Hara has a point

The problem Tottenham have got now is that whoever they get, is clearly not their first, second, or even third choice.

Fonseca and Gattuso are just two names to fall by the wayside. Julian Nagelsmann, Hansi Flick, Erik Ten Hag, and Brendan Rodgers, just four who Levy wanted and couldn’t get.

Desperation time is clearly setting in. Without disrespecting Gattuso, that must be the only reason Spurs even considered him in the first place.

O’Hara – although very passionate with his words – does have a valid point here. The club needs to sort this managerial appointment, and quickly.

Levy and Tottenham need to get their act together here. They can’t afford to go into July with no new man in charge.
