BBC pundit Paul Robinson has had his say on Tottenham Hotspur defender Eric Dier being linked with a move to Bayern Munich this month.
Spurs are expected to be active in this transfer window, and they seem to be making moves. Timo Werner is all set to come in, while talks are ongoing for Genoa defender Radu Dragusin. In terms of outgoings, Dier could be the first one to leave.

Paul Robinson says Bayern Munich move is ‘massive’ for Eric Dier
Eric Dier has had a season to forget at Tottenham, hasn’t he?
The £85,000-a-week (Spotrac) Englishman has played just four games in all competitions this season, and there’s just no sign of him making his way back into the team.
Even after Ben Davies got injured last night, Ange Postecoglou confidently claimed that he can still afford to sell Dier in the coming days.
Paul Robinson has had his say on the situation, and he thinks a move to Bayern is ‘massive’ for Dier as he has no future at Tottenham.
He told BBC Radio 5 Live: “It’s massive for him but you can quite clearly see he’s not part of Ange’s plans.
“You look at the way he [Postecoglou] has played this season, you look at the injuries he’s had, whether Cristian Romero‘s been injured or suspended and Micky van de Ven has been injured. Eric Dier hasn’t figured even when both of those two have been missing. He’s chosen to play four full-backs as centre-halves.
“If Eric Dier can’t get into that team it tells you something. If you can get a move to Bayern Munich at this stage it’s not too bad.”

Dier has to leave Tottenham
It is clear as day now that Eric Dier has no future at Tottenham.
Everyone expected him to leave this month, but a move to Bayern Munich after hardly playing any football all season is a bit of a surprise. Even Ian Wright was shocked to hear that.
However, moving to the Bundesliga and joining the league’s most dominant team should really help Dier return to his best. He’ll surely find it easier than he has done at Tottenham.
This is just a great move for all parties involved, and we’re sure Harry Kane will be pleased to have his old pal next to him in Germany.
