Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou has confirmed that he can afford to sell Eric Dier this month despite Ben Davies’ injury last night.

Spurs have had terrible luck with injuries this season, haven’t they? They’ve missed a number of players over the last few months, and Davies has now joined the list. That, however, is not going to have any impact on Dier’s Tottenham future, says Postecoglou.

Ange Postecoglou confirmed last night that the Welsh international suffered a hamstring injury, and that could keep him out of the side for a little while.

In his press conference after Tottenham’s win last night, Postecoglou was asked if he could afford to let Eric Dier leave the club now after Davies’ injury.

Dier has no future at Tottenham

It has been clear for a few months now that Eric Dier has no future at Tottenham.

The £85,000-a-week (Spotrac) Englishman has played less than 200 minutes of football this season. Ange Postecoglou has preferred the likes of Emerson Royal and Ben Davies ahead of him, which shows where he stands.
