‘He’ll love it in the Championship’: Tottenham fans respond to Newcastle wanting Dusan Vlahovic

Reports this week have surfaced to suggest that Newcastle United want to pay a huge amount for Tottenham and Arsenal target, Dusan Vlahovic.

The Express has reported how Newcastle are said to have readied a nine-figure bid (around £100m) to try and beat the rest of Europe to one of the hottest attacking properties. Vlahovic, 21, has been in electric form this season and is on course to break Cristiano Ronaldo’s record for goals in a calendar year.

Vlahovic, as we know, has been a long-term target for Tottenham. In fact, just a week ago, Fabrizio Romano claimed that Spurs were very much still in the hunt for the impressive Serbian.

News of Newcastle’s reported interest in Vlahovic has filtered through to the Tottenham fans, though, and it’s safe to say the Spurs faithful aren’t buying into it too much.
