The January transfer window may have only closed earlier this week, but it would appear that Arsenal are already making big plans for the summer amid interest in the likes of Alexander Isak, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Ruben Neves.

The Gunners resisted the temptation to panic buy last month. But they did let a number of players go. And with that, Arsenal look set to enjoy another busy summer.

In fact, they are already planning a £180 million spend, according to reports. The Sun suggested on Wednesday that Mikel Arteta is set to be backed with funds to sign Calvert-Lewin, Neves and Isak.

Calvert-Lewin would cost £60 million while Neves has a £45 million asking price. And Isak could become the club’s record signing as he boasts a £75 million release clause.

The plans do look ambitious. But Arsenal definitely need at least one new striker. And they certainly need to strengthen in the middle of the park.

Therefore, it does appear entirely possible that Arsenal will make big plays for all three players at the end of the season.

And with that, Arsenal fans should be seriously excited about what is to come from the Gunners this summer.

Arsenal signing Isak, Calvert-Lewin and Neves would lead to game-changing window for Gunners

Calvert-Lewin is one of the best goalscorers in the Premier League right now. Carlo Ancelotti previously labelled him a ‘fantastic‘ striker. And he appears to be perfectly suited to the way Arteta wants to play.

Meanwhile, Isak is something of a wildcard. But he was outstanding in La Liga last year. And he shone for Sweden at Euro 2020. At 22, he is a huge prospect. He was lauded as ‘exceptional‘ by Gary Lineker.

Neves has brilliant for Wolves this season. And at 24, he meets the criteria for the kind of signing Arteta has preferred during his tenure.

Obviously, it is asking a lot for Arsenal to sign all three. But they cannot let another window shut without new additions in midfield or up front.

And they need to be landing more of their top targets if they hope to move to that next level.
