Son Heung-Min believes Ange Postecoglou is already doing a ‘fantastic’ job at Tottenham Hotspur this season.

The Spurs skipper has been speaking to Tottenham’s official website ahead of their clash against Chelsea tonight and singled his boss out for praise.

Ange Postecoglou has Spurs sitting top of the Premier League and is yet to taste in England’s top flight.

The Aussie boss has taken many by surprise following his summer switch from Celtic and has quickly transformed Tottenham into one of the most impressive sides in the league.

One man who has rediscovered his best form under Postecoglou’s guidance is Son Heung-Min.

The 31-year-old struggled for form and confidence last season but he’s netted eight goals in as many games since moving to the striker position.

And Son has heaped praise on Postecoglou for the impact he’s made in North London so far.

Son lauds ‘incredible’ Postecoglou

“It’s been a fantastic journey for him and for us so far, the way he speaks during his pre-match team talks are incredible,” Son said of Postecoglou.

“It makes me feel like my heart is bouncing and feel like I want to go out there and give my all for him and this Club, so this has made a huge difference.

“He’s the type of manager that is always looking for ways to improve and the way he approaches each game and his style of play is perfect for our group of players.

“We have a clear understanding of what he wants which is important for the team and I think he’s doing a fantastic job.”

Posetcoglou has earned plenty of plaudits during the early stages of his Spurs tenure and James Maddison has already labelled his team talks as the ‘best’ he’s ever seen.

The former Celtic boss is a popular man in North London right now and it’s no surprise that Spurs’ players have taken to him so quickly.

Tottenham face a huge test tonight as they host Chelsea at home and will be aiming to get one over their former boss Mauricio Pochettino.
