Leeds United could still sign Chelsea striker Armando Broja this summer, according to Ben Jacobs.
Speaking to Give Me Sport, Jacobs provided an update on Broja’s future, with the end of the transfer window in sight. “Everton are also circling around Broja and Leeds United I think will be in the mix as well.”
It’s an exciting update for Leeds off the back of a fantastic 3-0 win over Broja’s current club Chelsea.

Brenden Aaronson pounced on a mistake from Edouard Mendy, before Rodrigo continued his electric start to the season to double their lead.
Jack Harrison, who was described as ‘brilliant’ by Jermain Defoe after the match, completed the rout, which has taken Leeds to third in the Premier League table.
It’s been a fantastic start to the season for Jesse Marsch’s side, who would have a perfect record had Southampton not rallied to score two late goals and pick up a point last weekend.
Leeds could still sign Broja this summer
A centre-forward has been on Marsch’s shopping list all summer, but so far, they’ve failed to get a deal over the line.
Belgian forward Charles de Ketelaere was Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani’s long-term target, but he eventually joined AC Milan.
Several others names have been linked, with interest in Broja lurking in the background.

Everton have also made enquiries for Broja, and with the Albanian international not even included on the bench for Chelsea yesterday, he could be keen to push for a move before the window closes in order to play more football.
Patrick Bamford wasn’t fit enough to be involved yesterday, and after last season’s injury problems, a new striker joining Leeds does feel like an important move to make.
This is despite Rodrigo currently being top scorer in the Premier League, and with four goals in his first three games, and he only needs three more goals to level his best ever season in the Premier League.

Radrizzani has also said he doesn’t want any new signing to stop Joe Gelhardt from playing more minutes, and so a loan move for the Broja, who West Ham nearly signed for £30m earlier in the window, would make the most sense.
Leeds may need to act fast if Broja is their desired target.
Everton are clearly in need of a forward as well, having yet to win a game this season, and Demarai Gray being the only player to score for the Toffees so far.
