Imminent Celtic signing Kyogo Furuhashi posts intriguing four-word Instagram message
Both Celtic and Vissel Kobe have now announced that an agreement is in place for attacker Kyogo Furuhashi. While Ange Postecoglou did not work with him in Japan, he was clearly impressed watching from afar. Now, Furuhashi has posted an intriguing four-word post on Instagram.
Vissel Kobe, who also boast Andres Iniesta and Thomas Vermaelen, confirmed on Friday morning that they had agreed to sell Furuhashi. They stated that the 26-year-old still needs to undergo a medical, but that a fee and personal terms had been agreed. That fee is expected to be £4.3million.
It is the second signing – or at least agreement – Celtic have put in place this week. The Hoops signed Liel Abada on Wednesday. Now, Japan international Furuhashi is to follow suit – but he may need to quarantine before a move is completed. Celtic posted an announcement on Twitter.
What has Furuhashi said on Instagram, since his move to Celtic was announced?
It is an interesting one. Posting just four words, Furuhashi states that “tomorrow will be interesting” in his new post on Instagram – posted just before 11am on Friday. Of course, he could be hinting that he is announced as a Celtic player tomorrow – but quarantine is likely to scupper that.
What it is more likely to mean, is that he could be a part of Vissel Kobe’s match against Cerezo Osaka on Saturday. Though it is unlikely the Japanese side are going to let him play given a move has been agreed. Time will tell, but for now, his post is certainly a mysterious one.
As stated, his post is translated as: “Tomorrow will be interesting.”
