Jack Pitt-Brooke says that he has been told this morning that Daniel Levy’s stance over selling Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane still has not changed, on the Athletic’s Football Show.
Levy holding firm
Glenn Hoddle claimed on Optus Sport on Sunday that he had information that Kane would be sold this week.
There has also been reports in the Telegraph saying that Kane is hoping to see his move to Manchester City go through in the coming days.
However, that all conflicts with the latest update that Pitt-Brooke has been given from Tottenham sources.
He says that Levy remains defiant over selling his captain, even after seeing Tottenham win in his absence against City at the weekend.
“Maybe City will come back with a bigger bid, bigger than the £75 million plus £25 million, which I believe is as much as they have offered so far,” he said.
“But, as is stands, I’m told this morning that Daniel Levy is still adamant that Kane is not going anywhere.
“Spurs are waiting to see what City are going to say this week, but at the moment, frankly, I still expect him to stay at Tottenham, regardless of what he might want.”

Spurs 1-0 City
During Tottenham’s 1-0 win over City supporters could be heard chanting ‘are you watching Harry Kane’.
Kane is yet to comment on the match or praise his current teammates on picking up the three points, which has frustrated Tottenham supporters.
However, it seems that his comeback may actually not be too far away.
On the same podcast, Pitt-Brooke suggested that Kane could be willing to play for Tottenham on Thursday in their Europa Conference League game.
And if Kane is selected it would be interesting to see what sort of reception he would receive from supporters, after his actions this summer.
