Spurs striker, Harry Kane, is hoping his exit from the club can gather pace this week and he is banking on Manchester City making their move.
Kane sat out the game yesterday as Spurs brushed City aside thanks to a goal from Heung-Min Son. Manager Nuno Santo made the call after meeting with Kane, who is said to be working on his fitness ahead of this weekend.

However, The Telegraph report that Kane is still looking to seal an exit from the club. And he wants City to make their move and ensure it happens this week.
At loggerheads
So far, Daniel Levy has resisted any temptation to sell. Further, City appear to have gone quiet, although their lack of ruthlessness in front of goal yesterday could prompt them to up their game.
It’s widely known that Kane wants out of North London. City are his dream destination, and he’s hoping to follow Jack Grealish to The Etihad.
But Kane’s move now rests in the hands of others. With Levy digging his heels, the England skipper needs those at City to put their hands in their pockets and convince the Spurs supremo to sell.
TBR’s View: Wishful thinking from Kane?
The fact Kane didn’t even make the bench yesterday was maybe a clue about where his future lies. Of course, Santo might have simply not felt he was fit enough.
But there seemed to be more to it. Kane is clearly unhappy. Everyone can see this from the outside. Santo, then, probably didn’t want to upset the balance and spirit of his team.
For Kane, he is now sitting and waiting. City have the money, it just depends if Levy lowers his guard. If not, then Kane will simply have to buckle down.
