Jose Enrique has backed Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah to find his form against Manchester City in the Premier League tomorrow.

The Egyptian, branded as ‘extraordinary’ by Diego Simeone, started this season better than any other player in world football. He was absolutely unstoppable for the Reds and his record this term – 28 goals and 10 assists in 38 games – is simply sensational.

As incredible as that goal return is, Salah just hasn’t been himself lately. He is going through a bit of a rough patch, and that has given rise to a fair bit of criticism from some fans, pundits and the media.

With Liverpool’s season-defining game coming up against Manchester City tomorrow, a few supporters are really worried about the Egyptian’s form.

Jose Enrique: Mo Salah will score a hat-trick for Liverpool against Man City

Enrique is incredibly active on social media. especially when a Liverpool game is around the corner.

The ex-Reds defender was busy discussing Salah’s form with his followers on Instagram yesterday. He has backed the Egyptian to turn things around against Manchester City and even predicted that he’ll score a hat-trick.

In one of his Instagram Stories, Enrique wrote: “I believe he is not in form at the moment. Listen, he is human and it’s a normal situation that can happen. Just him can turn it around and I’m sure he will against City this weekend.

In another post, he wrote: “(With) footballers, sometimes you forget they are humans as well and can go through bad times. Egypt situation and contract situation, I’m sure, is not helping him. This weekend against Man City, (he’ll score a) hat-trick mate.

The last time Mo Salah scored a goal from open play in the Premier League was in the last week of February, against Norwich. The one before that came at the start of this year against Chelsea, which seems like a long time ago now.

However, Salah’s form is definitely temporary as we all know he is a world-class player.

A hat-trick against Manchester City tomorrow may just be a tad bit too hopeful, but it really isn’t beyond him, is it?

Liverpool fans will be hoping that Salah will get back to his best tomorrow and if he does, the Reds should come away from the Etihad with a positive result.
