It’s the biggest game of the Premier League season this weekend as Manchester City take on Liverpool in what most are calling a title-deciding game in England.
City sit atop the table for now by just a single point. However, Liverpool have clawed their way back into things after the tally was double figures earlier in the season, and Klopp’s side will be confident they can pull off a big win and reclaim top spot.

Of course, the game is huge. The Premier League’s biggest stars will be on display and barring any big shocks, both teams should be going for the win. Despite the rivalry, there is also a mutual respect between the two teams and City star, Phil Foden, has admitted that even he loves watching Trent Alexander-Arnold do his thing for Liverpool.
“I think Trent. I just love the way he passes a ball. I think he’s one of the best passers of a ball I’ve ever seen. So yeah, I do like watching him,” Foden said on Sky when asked if he admires any Liverpool stars.
Foden and Trent are known to each other from the England set up, albeit Alexander-Arnold faces a huge fight at right-back with so many players in that position.
TBR’s View: Foden Or Trent Can Be Match-Winners This Weekend
Foden’s comments on ‘TAA’ are a nice touch really and show of respect. They are both great players and in teams full of expensively assembled world stars, it’s nice to see two homegrown talents having such an impact.
Indeed, such is their impact that both could be deciding factors in this game. Trent is known for his assists and ability from dead balls, while Foden is simply brilliant in the final third when running at players.
It’s all set up nicely, and hopefully the neutral fan is treated to a real spectacle.
