Tottenham have been linked with a move for Atalanta midfielder Teun Koopmeiners as of late.
The Dutch midfielder has been shining in Serie A for quite some time now, and with Spurs constantly scouring the Italian league for potential new signings, unsurprisingly, the midfielder has been linked with a move to Tottenham.
Writing for The Daily Briefing, Fabrizio Romano has shared what he knows about the Koopmeiners amid links to Tottenham.
According to Romano, there’s nothing concrete for Koopmeiners from Spurs right now. However, he is aware of strong interest from Juventus.

Juventus want Teun Koopmeiners
Romano shared what he knows about the Atalanta star.
There have been reports linking the Atalanta midfielder with Tottenham, but I’m not aware of anything concrete yet from Spurs. I’m aware of Juventus strong interest in Koopmeiners for the summer, but it’s never easy to negotiate with Atalanta. This could be one to watch for the summer, there’s nothing being negotiated in February or March.
One to watch
This is certainly a situation to keep an eye on.
Romano says that he’s not heard anything about Tottenham and Koopmeiners yet, but, at the same time, with Fabio Paratici still doing consultancy work at Spurs, it would not be a surprise if the north London club did have at least half an eye on one of the best midfielders in Serie A right now.
Of course, there’s a long way to go between now and the summer, and if Juventus are indeed interested in Koopmeiners, this won’t be an easy transfer battle for Spurs to win, but this is a player worth keeping tabs on as we head towards the end of the season as he’s been worthy of a big move for quite some time now.
Don’t be shocked if this isn’t the last you hear about Tottenham and Koopmeiners.
