Newcastle United forward Callum Wilson has admitted he was moaning at Kieran Trippier all week in the build-up to their win against Aston Villa.
The Magpies continued their rich vein of form yesterday with a fantastic 4-0 win at St. James’ Park.
Eddie Howe’s side have dominated a number of teams since the international break.
Wilson scored from the penalty spot just before half-time, before doubling Newcastle’s lead with a close-range header.
Joelinton and Miguel Almiron added goals of their own shortly afterwards and ended the tie as a contest.

Newcastle visit struggling Southampton next weekend before playing Chelsea before the World Cup break.
Few fans would have expected that to be a match whose outcome could potential decide who qualifies for the Champions League.
The 30-year-old forward was really pleased with his side after the match, but took time to mention one teammate in particular.
Wilson admitted he was moaning at Kieran Trippier all week to cross the ball to him during the match.
It certainly paid off as Trippier found Wilson at the back post for Newcastle’s second goal.
Wilson was moaning at Trippier all week
“Credit to those guys (Newcastle’s coaches), they work day in day out endlessly,” Wilson said.
“That set play routine we actually scored for Bournemouth against Aston Villa many years ago.
“I think Steve Cook was on the end of it that day, so it’s something that in our armoury and now it’s come here to Newcastle, so I knew exactly where to be to be honest.
“What a ball from Tripps (Kieran Trippier). He found me, I’d been on to him all week about crossing the ball to me, giving me an opportunity to get my head on something.
“And yeah, thankfully I did that today.”

The £12m full-back could be joined in Gareth Southgate’s England squad by Wilson next month.
Southgate was watching the pair yesterday, and would have been impressed by their link-up play.
However, Wilson’s two goals and two assists were the main headline, and he was described as a ‘predator’ by Martin Keown.
Trippier has been in phenomenal form for Newcastle this season, with Simon Jordan backing him to start for England.
His set pieces have caused havoc all season, and going forward his delivery into the box is fantastic.
However, he’s also contributed to Newcastle having the joint-best defensive record of the season.
That hasn’t stopped Wilson moaning at Trippier in training to cross the ball to him more.
It certainly paid off yesterday and the pair combined for a wonderful goal.
